Pedestrian is a new , independent Los Angeles based band, featuring singer/guitarist, joel shearer and drurnmer/singer, kane mcgee. ..
The band have been together since august of 2002 and have just finished recording their first two eps. the sound is reminiscent of early Pink Floyd, Bowie and the Beatles mixed with the angst of Black Sabbath and the groove ofLed Zeppelin. Joel Shearer and Kane Mcgee are Los Angeles natives and have been in the music scene for a while. ..from the debut ofhis first band , Super 8 to touring and recording with Alanis Morissette, Joel has kept himselfbusy with various side projects (Sub.bionic, Ben Taylor, Povi) and recording with legends like Lindsey Buckingham, Robbie Robertson, and Carly Simon. ...Kane has been playing drums since his was a little kid. he has toured the world and recorded a critically acclaimed record with his former band, Radford. this is Joel's first outing as a singer/songwriter and the band's decision to start to playing comes from their opinionated view of life and the world, and the need to express. Strong, provocative lyrics against a thoughtful, melancholic sound, Pedestrian' s music is full of emotion and melody. They will be on tour all summer to promote their 2 new eps, "pedestrian" and "acoustic" look for a fulllength record in spring ofnext year. Pedestrian is currently looking for distribution and radio airplay,
